Wales Rugby Odds

Wales is synonymous with rugby and for many years the fans have been crying out for a team to match their passion of the support.

Now, thanks to a host of exciting young players and a boss in Warren Gatland who is happy to give them their chance, they look like they can be contenders for the biggest prizes for many years to come.

The Wales rugby odds are therefore going to be well worth keeping an eye on…

Wales showed in the 2011 World Cup that they are a force to be reckoned with

Wales headed into the 2011 Rugby World Cup with little expected of them.

They had a disappointing Six Nations campaign that saw them finish fourth in the table after disappointing defeats against France and England and went to New Zealand without captain Matthew Rees who was forced to have surgery to correct a neck injury.

However, the Welsh prepared meticulously for their assault on the World Cup and they got within touching distance of the final after negotiating their group and then defeating Ireland in the quarter final stage.

They then lost narrowly to the French in the semi final after losing stand-in captain Sam Warburton to a red card.

It was a brave performance from Wales and their performances throughout the tournament suggest the future is looking very good – especially if the likes of Warburton, Rhys Priestland and George North continue their development.

Wales odds on them winning the Six Nations are worth looking at

Wales have won the Grand Slam twice during the first decade of the new millennium and both times they began their campaigns with stirring victories over England.

With beating the English almost as important as winning the Six Nations for Wales, backing them to see off England in the Wales odds looks well worth a punt.
